Day 01: Delhi
Arrive to a warm welcome at the international airport in Delhi. Thereafter, you will be escorted by a Scale India Tours representative to your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day and get ready for a memorable Desert Triangle Tour with Scale India Tours.
Day 02: Delhi
On day 2 of the Desert Triangle Tour, you will be taken on a guided tour of Delhi by our Scale India Tours representative. Apart from being the capital city of India, Delhi also boasts of a rich history that fascinates many. Visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Lotus Temple, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, and so on. You will also be able to see the grand Rashtrapati Bhawan (President's mansion) and the Parliament during your Delhi tour. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Shekhawati
Visit the famous Qutub Minar after a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. This 71 meter high structure consists of five stories and is one of the most famous attractions of Delhi. Later, you will drive to the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, India. Upon arrival in the evening, a Scale India Tours representative will escort you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel itself.
Day 04: Shekhawati - Bikaner The Shekhawati region is famously referred to as an "open art gallery" that fascinates everyone with its rich color and cultural fabric. It further boasts of many painted havelis that were built by the wealthy business families of the region in the medieval ages. Decorated with elaborate frescoes and murals these havelis offer you a wonderful glimpse into the rich artistic history of the region. Proceed to Bikaner after exploring the Shekhawati region. Upon arrival, check in at a hotel for an overnight stay and spend the remaining part of the day at leisure.
Day 05: Bikaner As part of the Desert Triangle Tour, explore the fortified city of Bikaner that was built by Rao Bikaji in 1488. Visit the famous Junagarh Fort, the Karni Mata Mandir where rats are worshipped and the unique camel-breeding farm. You will also be able to enjoy a village tour that would acquaint you with the culture and lifestyle of the region. Stay overnight at the hotel in Bikaner.
Day 06: Bikaner - Osian - Jaisalmer
On day 6 of the Desert Triangle tour, you will drive to the desert city of Jaisalmer via Osian. Speaking of Osian, it is an important pilgrimage center for both Hindus and Jains. It is also boasts of some very beautiful temples, the oldest of which dates back to 1178 AD. It must be mentioned that a number of Blackbucks and Chinkaras are often spotted along the road to Jaisalmer. Stop enroute at a village to gain an insight into the traditional life of the villages in Rajasthan. You will arrive at Jaisalmer in the evening where you will stay overnight.
Day 07: Jaisalmer On day 7 of the Desert Triangle Tour, set out to explore the desert city of Jaisalmer that is often referred to as a "living museum". The magnificent Jaisalmer Fort and the exquisite havelis that adorn the city make it one of the most sought after destination in Rajasthan. Drive to the Sam dunes in the afternoon and enjoy some spectacular views of the sunset before returning to Jaisalmer for an overnight stay.
Day 08: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Drive to the regal city of Jodhpur that is also referred to as the "Blue City". Check into a hotel on arrival and relax awhile. Later, you will visit the Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and the Umaid Bhawan Palace in the evening. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09: Jodhpur - Delhi
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast before driving to Delhi. You will arrive around afternoon and have the rest of the day at leisure. That would provide you with an excellent opportunity to indulge in some last minute shopping or enjoy a relaxing massage at the hotel.
Day 10: Flight Home
Transfer to the airport to board your flight back home thus signaling the end of a memorable Desert Triangle Tour.
